I grabbed a copy of The Village Voice from one of their boxes on 14th street yesterday, it's headline: "The 50 Most New York City Albums Ever." As I was about to walk away two hipsters, beards, mustaches and all, grabbed a copy before they got on the L train back to Bushwick (Williamsburg is just not cool enuff anymore) One said to the other, "I bet it's mostly all f*cking rap" - Okay posers here's the deal: As much as punk is part of the fabric of NYC - RAP is too... but you wouldn't know that having grown up in Boise Idaho before you came here to live out your alter-ego.
Shot with Vice today. Gettin' down with the plant-based science! Making smoothies and serious juices.
There's an old handicapped man in my neighborhood. It literally takes him ten minutes to walk one block, every step painful, but he always smiles. Saw him yesterday, as usual smiling away. Then I passed by one young person after another; miserable, unhappy and stressed out. Everything is "attitude" people. Who got that PMA?
